Since its opening in February 2014 Global Exchange Jordan operates four branches at Queen Alia International Airport, the main international airport in the country, which is located in the South of its capital city, Amman. Branches are strategically located in the Departures area (2) and the Arrivals area (2) in order to cover the needs of all airport users.
Global Exchange Jordan has more than 55 employees, all of them locals, who strive to give the best service to the almost 7 million passengers of the airport, 24 hours day 365 days a year.
We work with over 40 foreign currencies at our counters, as we are the main gateway to a cosmopolite, diverse country known as a very popular destination in the region as well as a hub to access the rest of the Middle East and other destinations in Asia.
The Global Exchange Group is one of the three leading companies worldwide at airport environments. Today, we have a network of more than 220 branches at 54 international airports of 20 countries and 5 continents, where our over 1,800-member staff service more than 4.8 million Customers every year.

The Jordanian dinar, official currency of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan but also used in the Palestinian territories of the West Bank, is one of the most valuable currencies in the world. It is divided into 100 piastres or 1,000 fils and there are also banknotes of 1, 5, 10, 20 and 50 Jordanian dinars and coins of 1, 2.5, 5, 10, 25 and 50 piastres.
